Our Key Beliefs

Recovery. We believe recovery is an ongoing, gradual, long-term process of change.

Advocacy. We believe in raising public awareness of the link between crime, substance abuse and related issues to better address solutions.

Education. Using educational events on substance abuse, the therapeutic community model, and on the recovery supports available increases the public awareness and fosters change.

Outreach. Facilitation of new partnerships, identification of resources helps to bridge the gap between the criminal justice system and the community.

Teamwork. A diverse and professional staff is necessary to uphold the NRCSF mission.

Treatment. Treatment is focused on individualized care.

Partnerships. Partnerships are founded in the belief that recovery is possible and we can help those who need our support.

Training. Ongoing education is critical to professional development and understanding of the impact of substance use on individuals across our state.

Data. Accurate and timely data collection is essential to Foundation operations to report on program and participant outcomes.
